In 2008, Hurricane Ike devastated Galveston and the surrounding region. Like many of our clients, Galveston Computer Solutions faced flooded buildings, damaged equipment, and days of uncertainty. While we worked to rebuild our own operations, we were also on the front lines helping local businesses recover their systems, restore connectivity, and get back to serving their customers.
That experience changed us. We saw firsthand how fragile technology can be in the face of disaster—and how critical preparation, backups, and recovery plans are for survival. It reinforced our belief that IT isn’t just about fixing computers; it’s about keeping businesses running, even when the unexpected happens.
